Save your money and play somewhere else thats all i will say. Pace of play is absolutely horrible. Called the ranger and he yelled at some single young kid. Must be nice being friends with the owner. Green were horrible shape and tee boxes were destroyed. Worst round of golf this year by far. Save your money and go play a real course where the rangers actually do their job. I will never come back to this joke of a golf course

The course is beautiful, and the staff is great! We did however get a group behind us that were super impatient and told the ranger we were not playing fast enough, to which his response to us was to play BEST BALL, but we had a 4-some in front of us and they had a 3-some in front of them. We kept hearing a bunch of ignorant comments to the point we ONLY got to play 4 holes before leaving. That's when the staff stepped in and allowed us to play the south side. Seriously, best staff I've EVER dealt with! The grounds were kept up really nice, the greens were fast but comfortable and the bunkers and waterways were challenging, but fun! I'd DEFINITELY come back again!

Course Conditions: C Pace of Play: F Bar & Amenities: A Staff Friendliness: B+ The biggest knock against this place is pace of play, it can ruin the golf experience. I'm here every Monday and it can take 2.5 hours or more to do 9 holes. And you're forced to rent a Cart, despite the fact that you're constantly waiting. I would never do 18 here given that. Conditions are acceptable for the price point. I love that there's a driving range for me to loosen up. Staff is good at what they do.

Sycamore Hills Golf Club is a nice venue with a great atmosphere and unforgettable memories. I attended my high school prom here in 2019, and overall the experience was memorable. The venue was clean, elegant, and well organized. The staff was professional and made everyone feel welcomed throughout the night. The golf course itself looked beautiful and made for great prom pictures, especially around sunset. The banquet area was spacious and classy, and you can tell they take pride in keeping the property looking nice. My only complaint was the food. They served Olive Garden catering, and honestly it tasted awful to me. I know that was some fake Italian food and was probably the weakest part of the night. Besides that, the event itself was still enjoyable and something I’ll always remember. Had a DJ at the event.

honestly this place used to be really fun. for what the course is, it is at a great value and is one of the best kept courses around at its price. this is where the celebrating stops for me. the last few times i have been here have been downright dismal. Dozens of carts all stacked up to play on one nine on any weekend of the year. if you like a 6 hour round, you can happily watch the flowers bloom here on a teebox. im not a speedrunner, but some decorum is appreciated. every year the course floods, which i get you cant help, but i dont understand how par 5's are playing as 3's for most of the summer rounds. the tee times here are sold within 7-8 minutes so groups will be stacked, bigger than 4somes, and they will gladly send all of the golfers to one set of 9 instead of spreading you around. hope they can turn around the service and learn to either spread tee times or atleast spread the courses you put people on. Youll book one course and get sent to another. too many other courses to call in metro detroit to keep dealing with this.
